Sticker Storage

I recently read an article by Anna Lyons called "3 Things You MUST Know About Using Scrapbooking Stickers" - I wanted to share point #3 with you because it was something that I haven't thought of yet:)

Anna Lyons #3:  Chances are as you purchase scrapbooking stickers, you won’t be using an entire package of stickers in one setting.  To keep stickers from getting lost in the midst of scraps or getting bent, organize your stickers.  Purchase a large binder, 8.5″x11″ card stock, dividers and plastic page protectors.  Label your dividers with broad categories such as animals, sports, family, phrases, etc.  Then sort your stickers according to these categories.  Remove the wrappings from any stickers that are still in packages.

Beginning with your first category, use 2-sided tape (the non-permanent type) and adhere two or more pages of the stickers to one side of a piece of the card stock.  Just use one piece of tape to help keep the page of stickers from slipping around.  Do the same thing on the backside of the card stock.  Then place the card stock into a protector sleeve and place it in the binder.  Continue to do this until all of the stickers have been placed in the binder.

Now, each time you want to scrapbook, your scrapbooking stickers will be easily accessible.  You’ll discover that by taking the time to get organized that you won’t be wasting stickers or running to the store to purchase more stickers because you can’t find the ones you already have.

I have been really busy of late, ergo, not many entries. Please remember that I have a second blog (made by accident and wish I could merge with this one, but I don't know how...ha ha ha).

I have had back and neck surgery and I watch my grandsons. I'm the back-up babysitter when they get sick. I've been extremely tired also.

I've also been on Pinterest too. It is addicting. If you want to find my page look for Connie Kahl. I have a lot of papercrafting ideas and other things too. In fact, I have a 'lot' of other things...lol.  It is addicting.

My twin and I will be turning 50 this month! I found this on Facebook and found it cute.

'till next time,

 con
